the epitome
of motion

by erla sólveig óskarsdóttir
Erla Sólveig Óskarsdóttir developed Dreki (Icelandic for dragon) because she wanted an expressive, vivacious chair that blended the dramatic dynamism of Iceland’s countryside with stability. At many levels, as with the new stainless Inox-steel frame and UV-resistant polyamide seat and backrest, Dreki is now even better suited for outdoor use. While Dreki, which is 100% recyclable, makes a powerful statement, it’s airy. The parts are almost as thin as the fabric they resemble. Dreki now boasts new stunning colors such as azure bringing the vibrancy of nature to mind. A multi-award-winning design now given a new lease of life.
