Einn features curves reminiscent of the expansive waves that lap on Iceland’s beaches. And yet Erla Óskarsdóttir has also ensured the chair is as curvaceous as the undulating body of a Samba dancer. She masterfully combines both movements to create a supportive chair whose backrest snuggles up to you however you may wish to sit. This marvelous and highly organic form is made possible by the use of an innovative compact injection-molding process. Spelling a chair for a vast variety uses: practical, stackable, available in three different heights, the award-winner is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Small wonder, given ames’ emphasis on a culture of diversity.
